- Yashpal Kamble is a Mumbai based professional Artist. Having done a Masters in painting from the Sir. J.J School of Art, in Mumbai, Yashpal is highly influenced by Buddhism and the life of a monk. Yashpal is fond of working with Charcoal and subtle colour shades that denote the underlying thought of the ascetic Buddhist life. Yashpal uses hints of Acrylics to bring out pops of colour within his charcoal artworks. He uses abstract shapes and iconography to represent the Buddhist philosophy of harmony, peace, meditation, love, calmness and happiness. His most favourite subject is the child monk. This subject embodies innocence, kindness and happiness which attracts all to it. Other icons that Yashpal loves to use is the Tibetian monk life, their colours, form, mantra, bell and umbrella as a painting form. Yashpal meditates profoundly and his paintings are a representation of his spiritual journey into Buddhism. His belief is simple, all his my paintings should reflect good luck & happiness for all... " सबका मंगल होय रे "!!
